What is processed

We store your account email/name, devices and task/project data in Cloudflare D1. Task text can include sensitive personal information such as health appointments. Only share information you are entitled to use.

When you choose to process text, it is sent to the Knoopi Cloudflare backend. Screenshot OCR runs on Android or iPhone first; the text you choose to process is uploaded, not the screenshot image. Calendar imports upload selected event details. On iPhone, shared text and on-device screenshot text stay in a protected app-group draft for review and expire after 24 hours. Shared images are not uploaded. Optional notification capture checks text locally and prompts you to review it; text is uploaded only when you choose to add/process it with cloud processing enabled. It may include SMS or messaging-app notifications; Knoopi does not read their message history.

Gmail is separately authorised through Google. Knoopi stores encrypted connection tokens and processes recent message content when you request a scan or enable optional background email checks. Selected-calendar background checks are also optional; iOS controls when they run. You can revoke access in your Google Account. No mailbox content is sent to an advertising service or paid AI provider. Verified sign-in uses Resend to send a code to your email address; no task text is included in those sign-in emails.

Subscriptions and processors

Membership purchases are not enabled until store configuration and testing are complete. When enabled, Google Play or Apple processes payment details. Knoopi verifies Google Play purchases directly with Google using a hashed Knoopi account identifier and store purchase tokens. Purchase tokens are encrypted in Cloudflare D1; no card details are received by Knoopi. Apple purchasing remains disabled until direct Apple verification is complete. We use no ads, ad tracking or marketing analytics.

Retention and deletion

Account and task data is retained while your account exists. Export or delete it in More → Privacy and data or on the account deletion page. Deletion removes the account, tasks, captures, projects, settings and stored connection credentials. Email login challenges expire after ten minutes and are cleaned up periodically; abuse-protection counters expire shortly afterwards. Billing webhook IDs are kept for up to thirty days to prevent duplicate processing. Account deletion immediately removes stored purchase-token ciphertext and the account link. An unlinked token hash and minimal purchase status are retained for up to ninety days after deletion to prevent purchase replay. Store transaction records may remain with Apple/Google under their retention rules. Provider backups may age out according to their own retention policies; we do not promise immediate erasure of their backups.

Deleting Knoopi does not cancel a store subscription. Cancellation is available in your store subscription settings. You may delete your account immediately without cancelling first.

Your choices

Capture, calendar access and notifications are optional. Manual tasks remain available if permissions are declined. You can request access, correction, export or deletion. Processor locations may involve international transfers; the publisher must finalise processor agreements and legal disclosures before launch. Knoopi is not intended for children; a final age-rating assessment is required before submission.
